The Career Guidance and Placement cell was established in the year 2006 with a prime objective of creating career opportunities for our students in reputed sectors towards meeting aspirations of all the stakeholders. In the year 2016 cell was centralized & started operating individually by the placement officer.
To accomplish this career objective placement cell has identified corporate in various sectors and initiated the process of building career guidance to them.All department faculty nurture students for the personality development and Career Guidance programme enables students to hone their soft skills to meet the industry needs.
The objective of the cell is to identify the talents available among the students of this College and nurture and harness them further and offer guidance to choose a bright and right career.
The activities of the cell include collecting the database of the students and compiling them for use when needed. The cell facilitates the students to improve their skills to face various competitive exams such as civil service exams conducted by UPSC. The Career Guidance Cell organizes training programs to encourage the students to plan their future. The Career Guidance Cell, as per the guidelines of the UGC, provides information on job queries and placements in different institutions and concerns related to the courses that the College offers.
The Career Guidance Cell organizes workshops for informing students about emerging trends and events. It also aims promotion of discipline, healthy outlook and positive attitude towards national integration and removal of narrow provincial preferences and prejudices among students. Above all, the main function of the cell is to invite reputed companies to the campus or to refer for off campus interviews and find suitable jobs for the skills available among the students.
In the fruitful journey the companies visited our Campus for recruiting students from various disciplines. The college encourages various technical, cultural and literary events to provide holistic abilities to the students in facing emerging challenges in the context of globalization.
